1. Capo Bay Hotel, Protaras, Cyprus
Capo Bay Hotel Protaras opened in 1985, but this hotel remains modern and fresh thanks to constant upgrading each season.
As for “location, location, location”, Capo Bay Hotel Protaras ticks all the boxes since it is right next to Fig Tree Bay, one of the best beaches in Cyprus. Equally, the hotel is just moments from the Protaras strip, where you’ll find an almost endless selection of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues with live shows, shops and more.
Capo Bay guest rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV and hot drink facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout. Several rooms face the Mediterranean Sea.
Buffet breakfast is served every morning, and the hotel’s restaurant provides far-reaching sea views. Lunch and dinner are served at the Koi lounge bar, at the a la carte restaurant or the pool bar when the weather is warm.
Ideal for relaxing holidays, the Capo Bay has a spa centre with a sauna, hot tub, steam bath, hammam, Vichy shower, a fully equipped gym and a 15-metre heated indoor lap pool. Recreation facilities include a modern fitness centre and a scuba diving school.

2. Flamingo Paradise Beach Hotel, Protaras, Cyprus.
This fantastic family-run hotel is designed for adults only (16 years old and above).
The Flamingo Paradise Hotel is just 60 seconds from the beach and a short stroll from the Protaras strip, which, as noted earlier, is home to endless bars, restaurants, live music events and shops.
This hotel opened in 2021, so all rooms feature fresh layouts and interior design elements. There are also electronic controls for lighting and air conditioning. In addition, you can also use these controls to operate the “do not disturb” signs from easy-to-use panels located at the entrance of your room and right next to the bed.
The design of the entire hotel is airy, and all rooms feel spacious due to the modern layout. In addition, the pool area is well thought out. You’ll love relaxing on the high-quality and extremely comfortable sun loungers; plus, there are special sun loungers, especially for couples.
You’ll also find a well-equipped gym with beautiful views looking out to the beach, which helps to make your workout feel a little easier.
The Flamingo Paradise also offers a spa, buffet restaurant, a good shop selling clothes and essentials and a poolside bar/cafe.

3. Blue Ivy Hotel and Suites, Protaras, Cyprus.
The Blue Ivy Hotel and Suits in Protaras is the only hotel featured here that isn’t located directly on the beach.
Unless this is a “must” for you, don’t worry because the beach is just a few minutes away.
We have included this hotel specifically because it was the only hotel in Protaras to receive the hard-to-achieve “exceptional” rating on Booking.com (at the time of writing).
Having recently visited the Blue Ivy Hotel, we can confirm it is well-located and delightful.
The hotel is set back from the central Protaras Strip and is just a few minutes from the nearest beach restaurants, bars, etc.
The Blue Ivy offers two outdoor swimming pools, one for children and one for adults, and every room has a wardrobe, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom (with complimentary toiletries). Other room features include a balcony, and some rooms offer sea views. An extra benefit is that all rooms at The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites have a seating area.
A continental breakfast is available each morning, and a variety of international dishes can be enjoyed at Utopia Restaurant.
