Ed Sheeran Cyprus 2024 Frequently asked questions
This is the place to find answers to frequently asked questions about the Ed Sheeran concert at the Land of Tomorrow events venue on Saturday, 7th and Sunday, 8th of September 2024.
Please note:
We provide this FAQ section as part of our commitment to providing “helpful and accurate” information on our website.
All information is based exclusively on information provided to us directly from the concert organisers (Moonlight Show Productions Ltd) and/or Ticketmaster. We do not publish unverified information from other websites, social media, newspapers, or unofficial sources.
As you can see, we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our information. However, Share Cyprus cannot be held responsible for any problems if the information we were given and published proves to be incorrect and/or is changed without us being informed.
There are no physical tickets for this concert.
If you have already purchased tickets, check your email OR log in to your Ticketmaster account.
Logging into Ticketmaster
- Go to the Ticketmaster website and select the correct language option in the left-hand corner.
- Click the sign in button (on mobile, this is the little person icon at the top right of the screen).
- Once you have signed in, you need to click your profile name (or the person icon) once again and then a menu will appear.
- Next, from the drop-down menu, click ” ORDERS ” to find your tickets (even if they have also been emailed to you).
The Ticketmaster Box office and resolution centre is at the Land of Tomorrow events venue in Larnaca, close to the main entrance (see below for directions to the venue).
It is open from midday on Saturday and Sunday.
At this late stage, if you need to make any changes to your purchased tickets, this can only be done, in person, at the Ticketmaster Box Office.
This is located at the Land of Tomorrow events venue in Larnaca, near the main gates (see map below).
This centre is open from midday on Satuday and Sunday and throughout the day.
As far as we know, there is a charge of €10 per name change and you will need to present photo ID.
We have been informed that Ticketmaster are inundated with emails and calls.
Based on some (not all) of the messages and emails we are receiving here at Share Cyprus, we also assume that many of these relate to unnecessary enquiries!
First and foremost, please consider whether your question or enquiry is essential (i.e., can you find the information you need here on our site or elsewhere?).
If you decide your enquiry is essential and you’re unable to get through to Ticketmaster before the weekend, rest assured that a Ticketmaster Box Office and Resolution Desk will be available at the gates of the venue from 12:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
You can print out your tickets or show them at the venue on your mobile phone.
If you choose not to print your tickets, being well-prepared is crucial.
Please make sure you have easy access to your digital tickets when you arrive at the venue.
As you enter the gates, please ensure you have immediate access to each of the tickets you have purchased so Ticketmaster can scan the code quickly and efficiently.
You must also show your photo ID (the ID you used when booking your tickets and for each ticket holder). This will be one of the following: Passport -OR- identity card -OR- driving licence as appropriate.
We get a lot of question about whether you need to take original documents or copies.
We believe you should be required to present your original documents (for security reasons), however, we will not be surprised of copies and photos of documents on your mobile will be acceptable.
Therefore, we can’t give you a decisive answer on this and you will have to make your own choice about what to do here.
Finally, Ticketmaster has also confirmed there will be “pat-down” security checks before entering the concert venue. This involves briefly inspecting your arms, legs, and body with a metal detector to ensure prohibited items, such as weapons or contraband, are not brought inside.
Yes and here it is…
Key points:
- Gates are scheduled to open from around 4 pm both nights. This gives you access to the FAN ZONE and a chance to be at the front of the queue when the arena doors open.
- The doors to the main arena open at around 6 pm, so if you are standing and want to be at the front, get there extra early!
- Although subject to minor changes, we can confirm that Ed Sheeran’s special guest act, Calum Scott, will be on stage around 7:45 p.m., and Ed Sheeran will be on stage for the main event at around 9 p.m.
Please remember that this is the biggest concert ever to be held in Cyprus (at least 20,000 people each night), so allow plenty of time to travel to the venue, pass through security and ticket checks, get your drinks, etc.
We were also informed (on 02.09.2024) that the dual carriageway that runs directly outside the venue will likely be reduced to just one lane in each direction on both days by the police.
This is for the safety of pedestrians walking to and from the show.
Just like at any other major event of this size, expect traffic jams and long queues for the bars, food outlets, and restrooms!

This is an outdoor concert and the venue has what can be described as a “festival feel”.
Therefore, don’t wear high heels or your best shoes. The ground is good but unfinished and dusty.
If you are in the raised standing or grandstand areas, you will still need to wear comfortable shoes.
The main thing is to wear something comfortable and practical for an outdoor concert!
The expected weather for both days is sunny, with highs around 34c. The temperature will then drop to around 25c in the evening, which is perfect!
Also, just a heads up, the restrooms are ‘chemical loos’, not the fancy ones you’d find in a 5-star hotel. But hey, it’s all part of the outdoor concert experience, right?
Calum Scott will likely be on stage at approximately 7.45 pm on both nights at the Ed Sheeran concert in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Ed Sheeran is scheduled to be on stage around 9 p.m. on both nights he’s here in Cyprus.
Essential and allowed items:
- Your ticket (printed or on your mobile phone). Your ticket will be scanned at the door.
- Official ID for all ticket holders.
- You can bring your mobile phone, but NO PROFESSIONAL cameras or recording equipment is allowed.
- Small handbags are allowed. However, no rucksacks or large bags are permitted.
- Grandstand ticket holders may bring a small cushion.
Prohibited Items:
You own food, drinks, weapons, drones, bottles/alcohol, drugs, pushchairs/strollers, stools/chairs, rucksacks/large bags, selfie sticks, crash helmets, professional cameras or recording equipment, flags or polls, umbrellas, laser pens, fireworks, and flares.
Over 20,000 people will attend each night, and security is paramount. Without going into details, there are serious considerations regarding water containers, which could contain dangerous substances.
From a logistical standpoint, if you were to bring your own food and drinks, security would need to check each item. This process would cause significant delays for those trying to enter the event.
We have discussed this at length with the organisers and can confirm it is a valid security issue, not a way for them to make more money.
With that covered, we confirm water, soft drinks, alcohol and food will be on sale at the event.
Based on our personal experience at the recent Tom Jones concert (at the same venue), the prices for water, soft drinks, alcohol, and food can be described as “reasonable.”
Although we are extremely supportive of this concert, we have to be honest and say we are very “disappointed” with the arrangements and options regarding food and beverages.
With that said, here’s everything you need to know!
We have been informed today (06.09.2024) that you can buy tokens for food and drinks with cash, debit or credit cards or using any mobile phone payment system.
How it works…
First, you will need to buy tokens before buying any drinks/food at one of the “token payment counters” and as you can see, they are easy to spot!
Each token is worth €1.
Please note that you won’t get a refund for any unused tokens. Also, if you are going to both shows (Saturday and Sunday), tokens bought on Saturday night cannot be reused on Sunday.
This system means you will queue twice. Once to buy tokens and then to get food and drinks.
Expect long queues for both.
Once you have your tokens, the following options are available…
DRINKS
Water €2
Shark Energy Drink €5
Soft Drink €4
Somersby Cider €6
Carslberg Beer €6
FOOD
Sandwiches (Veggie, Ham, Turkey, Cheese) €6
Crisps €3
Ice cream €3
We confirm there are no gluten free options and we could not establish whether provisions are in place for anyone with peanut allergies etc.
There is no fixed duration for the Ed Sheeran concert in Cyprus; however, he generally performs for at least two hours during his Mathematics tour.
There is no fixed end time for the Ed Sheeran Concert.
If you are being collected by car, taxi, or bus, we suggest you arrange to be collected from 11.30 pm onwards.
At this time, we have not received any information regarding official drop-off or pick-up areas for private cars, taxis, or mini-buses.
As such, we would like to advise you based on our experience during the recent Tom Jones concert at the same venue.
A good location to use is Jumbo/McDonalds.
Both are easy for drivers to find and are about a 10-minute walk along the main road from the Land of Tomorrow events venue.
If we are told of any official drop-off/pick-up areas, we can assure you that the information above will be quickly updated. We are committed to keeping you informed and ensuring a smooth event experience.
We are advised that all official parking lots are FULLY BOOKED!
Sadly, there’s no other “mass parking” alternative that we safely recommend.
Therefore, please consider the following…
The Ed Sheeran concert will attract around 20,000 people each night.
Demand for parking around the concert venue will be high and challenging to locate.
Police will be vigilant about illegal parking, especially where it could block emergency services’ access to the event venue, local businesses and/or residential property.
“We’ll find a space in the Jumbo car park or down a side street” might not be the best plan of action for 99.9% of people!!!
Please remember to plan ahead, share your journey with friends, arrive early and be careful to avoid parking where you will cause problems, get a ticket or have your car towed.
Good luck out there!
Here is a map showing the locations of the Blue and Orange carparks.
Clickable links below will open these locations on your mobile phone (requires Google Maps).

Please allow plenty of time to reach these destinations due to road closures and heavy traffic (for obvious reasons).
Updated 02.09.2024
We have been advised to inform you that no special shuttle buses are running from Larnaca Marina (or any other location in Larnaca).
Understandably, some people may be concerned about security due to the size of this event and recent global events.
We have discussed this with the organisers, who have confirmed that hundreds of security guards will be on-site and that everyone entering the venue will be checked. In addition, extra police officers will be on duty around the area on both nights of the Ed Sheeran concerts.
While the organisers have taken every precaution to ensure your safety, we also have a collective responsibility to be vigilant. Your awareness and prompt reporting of any concerns are essential.
If you notice anything unusual or concerning, please report it to a security team member at the venue as soon as possible. It is better to be safe than sorry.
No children under the age of 5 can attend this event.
Children aged 5-11 must have Grandstand tickets and are not allowed in standing-only areas for safety.
Kids aged 12+ are allowed in the standing areas.
This makes sense since at least 20,000 people will be there each night and the show features pyrotechnics plus loud sound for over two hours.
Please be aware this show features pyrotechnics throughout and loud sound for over 2 hours.
