This is the Share Cyprus 3-Minute Tour of Protaras, Cyprus (filmed September 2023).
This short little video explains why Cyprus is such a good choice and so popular with British and English speaking holidaymakers.
Protaras is lively during the summer season (April to October each year) but very quiet in the winter, with just a handful of places remaining open.
Protaras is popular with tourists and many Cypriots too. This is because many residents of Nicosia own holiday homes in or near Protaras and spend most summer weekends here.
The town is known for its beaches (especially Fig Tree Bay). It’s also home to the limestone Church of Profitis Ilias and Konnos Beach, and the Cape Greco National Forest Park are nearby.
